Commencing the Indigenous Leadership Dialogue

TLN’s mission is to support leadership development professionals and to progress leadership development in Australasia and the Indo-Pacific.

TLN is seeking to establish an indigenous leadership development dialogue. This includes exploring indigenous LD practices, and explore potential collaboration and pathways forward in a better world.

To help set the scene for this dialogue, we welcome
Grant Cameron. Grant is proud Kamilaroi man, and is Program Manager for Australian Rural Leadership Foundation, a graduate and facilitator of the ARLF Milparanga Program. 

Grant's experience includes leading the Indigenous Digital Excellence national Flint technology program at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence, as well as extensive experience in network and relationship-building with a diverse range of corporates, stakeholders and indigenous and non-indigenous communities. He has personal and deep knowledge and understanding of working with indigenous youth, adults and elders.

Grant has extensive facilitation experience working within 30 remote, rural and regional indigenous communities across the country over the past five years. He values and nurtures strength in cultural traditions, and has established meaningful connections with a wide range of stakeholders, including schools, land councils, ranger group

He has developed and facilitated workshops to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth, adults and elders, through a unique cultural lens—designed to inspire positive change within community. Grant is passionate about working with people and seeing transformative personal growth and positive behavioural changes.s, libraries, media organisations, and many others.

This session is intended to commence the LD dialogue and to help set the scene for the emergence of indigenous leadership as a part of the shared experiene of all humanity.
